Shell we use to have photoshop but when the house burned nothing in it survived the computer and all the family pictures that kind of thing all lost.
It cost a little over 600.00 dollars for 2 different programs don't remember the names but insurance companys don't pay much for anything over a year old the computer cost 1300 they offered 400 .The photoshop offer I think was 150.00 .. Hundreds of dvd movies they offered about 20 cents on the dollar 18 months later we won our claim in court but by then my wife had a attitude problem no more collecting goodbye computers and internet.
Anyways you have to adjust to change in life and keep on doing things you enjoy.
Now I don't know what you want to do with photoshop but common things are add rain or snow to photos... smoke.. light effects ..edit photos you want to make them larger or smaller .
There are free downloads that do the same . Some like Gimp has a lot of stuff like photoshop is a free download. It is about as difficult as photoshop to learn a lot of boring reading.I hated photoshop because my wife reads about 2 minutes then loses interest then I got to read everything and show her how to use it.
These programs are the best and you don't have to be a computer geek to use them my 11 year old grandson did the burnout on here my wife explained what to do and it is a little jerky but that was because the pictures were taken without a tripod and a 5 year old moved the car 30 pictures taken about 10 used.
Lets say you want light effects Vicman has a old program free has neat light effects also some neat tools to clean up photos . Easy to use.
Want to make rain or snow Squirlz another free program takes a little bit of patience to use it but does nicer work than photoshop.
Want to make smoke for a burnout like the Monte Carlo on this post PhoXo another free download has a easier set up than photoshop to do layers.Easy to add smoke or clouds to pictures .
The burnout tire marks simple... windows Paint did that ..also handy to resize pictures and make them smaller.
PhotoScape great if you want to make a gif file and a lot of edit things .
Want to add moving water to a picture try Lunapic a online free editor. And lot of other effects
Tell me where to post a few pictures and what you want to try. I will give you a few samples.. rain.... snow... light effects.
all easy to do maybe I can talk my wife into a tutorial she can type l.o.l. takes me forever with one finger.
Any ways a long read but life goes on without photoshop and its a free trip.
This is a Johnny Lightning tow truck it took about 5 minutes to make the flashing light with a photo editor. Your first try would be about 10 minutes to learn the few steps it takes very very easy an I think it looks kind of neat .
