Thanks Shell ..The toolbox and other stuff came from the Motormax diorama series they had a car in a display case with shop detail parts . They were around a few years ago today it would be evil bay if you wanted to find them . They cost 9.92 at wally world when they came out .
My wife bought a bunch and ripped them apart cut up the toolboxes made them smaller the parts are 1:60 scale some need adjusting. l.o.l. My wife could care less about correct scale she makes things look like they are .
I mean the people she uses are 1:87 scale easy to find not correct but the way she places them it is hard to tell . 1:64 scale people will not fit inside 1:64 scale cars
1:87 scale some wont fit in on the drivers side so they need adjustment l.o.l. cut the steering wheel out put the person in glue the wheel back on .Some you have to cut the legs off to get them in the car. So what all this crap means is adjust the look till it looks ok l.o.l.
You can buy sheet plastic at a hobby shop cut it up make a workbench . Small square plastic tube will make a engine stand.
In the first picture at the front of the garage you see a little black thingy as my wife calls it .l.o.l. it has a blue hose coming out of it .In her mind it is a air compressor with the air hose.
In the real world the compressor was a engine part left over from a large scale model car. The air hose well that you might have in stock . Thread l.o.l. Blue or red or black a air hose .
Black thread will make a electric welding cable. Every picture I post that has something you can make I will point it out.
You get to the point you start to look at everything you are going to throw out and think what would this make. l.o.l. My wife has about 20 parts trays of junk that might get used someday.

Great dio Jim.... I de-tampo so many Cars it isn't funny... I have this rule in collecting and that is if the Car didn't come with the goofy tampo, then the goofy tampo needs to goooooooooooooo >>>>> ... I remove my tampos with O.P.I. Fingernail remover as it works great and doesn't harm the car unless you scrubbed at the tampo area to hard, then the remover will go through the paint..... Great job on the rusty Car look...

Looking goooooood Jim..... I bet that DOTS Truck took some time to de-tampo... Looks great being all one color Johnny Lightning cars and trucks are pretty easy to remove tampos..My wife said it took about 10 minutes. This creature with the dumb looking white flames took her about half an hour. The tampos on Hotwheels is hard to remove this one still needs a wheel swap.
