I have been busy picking up M2 Chases, here and there... Here are a few that are in arms reach to take pics of... lol This one came from a Trade I did with Mattywhelz ... Thanx buddy   Online purchase for $12 shipped  Online purchase for $14 shipped  Online purchase for $15 shipped  Online purchase for $1.50 shipped with eBay bucks  Online purchase for $19.99 shipped  Now this is where it gets fun.... Someone on HobbyTalk ( I won't say who it is, but he made me laugh many of times in PMs back and forth ) was telling me that I would never get this Promotional Chase SuperBee 108pc for the price I wanted to pay.. He said their is NO WAY I would get this car for $25 as that is what I offered him as he had one for sale at $80.00 then he dropped it down to $50.00 where it still sits on eBay at... Well, to that person on HobbyTalk, I picked this bad boy up for $4.00 - yes you read it right $4.00... The key to collecting is being at the right place right time to obtain Promotionals or Prototypes - Sample pcs.... You also have to be patient as you will never know what you will find in someone elses collection or online for sale... The name of the game is ( Patience !!!! )   I also picked this one up for $4.00 from the same seller... Promotional Chase 108pc   Now this one I paid a little more than I wanted which I will not say as I really haven't seen this one on the selling block lately so I stepped up and drop some funds for it... Promotional Chase 60pc Mercury ... It's great to finally obtain this piece ... I'm not usually into chase pieces with superfluous gold trim, but this Apache is gorgeous.
Good going on your recent scores.
I'm surprised you found such a limited piece for $4. And now your next hunt is one of 30 pieces? It won't take only patience partner, but also a seller who doesn't know what he's got, to get that for your price! Good luck though.

Niiiice, and I saw the price on that Merc, In my opinion, you did well, I wrestled over buying it, then got offered 3 of the six 1/24's I need, so i left it alone.. And did you notice the new bases on the BWF tow truck, and the COE?

Yeah, I noticed the gold bottoms - nice touch by M2 Yeah, I had to drop the funds for the Merc as it doesn't pop up for sale often so I figured why not as it may be a while for another one up for sale. Which 1/24 did ya obtain ???? Post pictures when you can as I love to see them |
