Today we had to make the decision to have or dog Zues put down. It's been a rough couple of weeks watching him decline, but at 16 he did live a long happy life though. Farewell buddy. You will be missed.   |

Steve, I am soooooooooo sorry, I wish there was something I could say to make the pain go away. Our pets truly are our best friends, as they are always there for us and they do not judge you. I do not have a dog I have a cat and he is 17 yrs old and he isn't doing so well himself and I don't know what I would do without him. As he is always at the door waiting for me when I come home, he knows when I am upset or having a bad day, he will sit by me and put his head under my hand for me to pet him as tho to say it will be ok. If there is anything I can do please let me know. Here is a little poem I found and I hope it helps a ease the pain a little. Look not where I was
For I am not there
My spirit is free
I am everywhere
In the air that you breathe
In the sounds that you hear
Don't cry for me
My spirit is near
I'll watch for you
From the other side
I'll be the one running

I am so sorry for your loss my friend I too have had to make that decision. It is never easy. It is funny how they become our childred. Abbey and I have three babies, Moejoe, Gizzy, and Jeager and to tell you the truth i cannot imagine life without them.
And Shell those were fantastic words and a great poem.
