How many of you get bored and jump on eBay to bid people up and make them pay more for an item that you have no intention of buying ??
Well, last night I was bored and started bidding and raised many auction past where they should of been in value... I know one of these days I will get stuck with one or two of them if I am not careful :Surprised:... But last night I was enjoying myself making other people spend their money... :ROTFLMAO:
How many you do that or something simular ??? Don't be shy or bashful to say you have done it once or twice :Big Grin:

Never done it on something I didn't want. I have made sure a few bidders didn't get a good deal on things I did want by pushing my maximum up when I could sense I had no chance of winning.

I don't use Ebay but I think that is funny. Same here but I think if I ever do get paypal and start using ebay. I will stay on Dan's good side.....LOL |

I wish eBay was setup as the older version ( 8yrs ago version ) where you could read peoples ID names so no one is stepping on each others auctions when bidding if you know the ID name.... If we can only know who is x**y before bidding... I am sure I have snipes quite a few M2 Chases from fellow forum members in the past... All in all, when it comes to friends, I rather help them than make them pay if I know what they are looking for ( RAOKing is fun when you can surprise them ), but when bidding on eBay it turns out to be a dog eat dog world in who you are bidding against.... I remember their was one auction that I really wanted and bid pretty darn high to win it too and at the last sec I was outbid by a sniper which shocked the hell out of me seeing a person would pay so much for a Car ,, I mean this guy jumped from $40ish to $160ish and won the auction... I am sure he was shocked too when he saw $40 turn into $160 in a flash of a second when he won the auction for 4 times over where it was sitting at ... He may have been thinking the same thing as I was, which was bid high and wish for the best.... Was he pissed ?? Only he would know, but what I do know is, he paid 4 times over for the item... :Whistling: :Surprised: :It wasn't me: |

Dan, do you remember the time we were bidding against each other, then I called you up and said, is that you bidding on such and such auction? You said yes why? I said because I am bidding on it too..... I just don't remember if we both let go of the auction or one of us stopped bidding so the other one could get it. I only bid up an item to my max and if I win awesome, if I don't oh well, but if I see someone is being a total jerk and they keep upping their bid and they are doing it to increase my bid, I will up it to a point and stop because I do not want to be stuck overpaying for something.
