Having been off work on injury leave I decided to get out of the house for a little while this morning. The Girlfriend was happy to get me out of the house. I have been wanting to go and sit in front of Las Vegas Fire And Rescue Station 1 and get some pictures and vids of the rigs responding. Since the knee is better but still not a hundred percent this is easy. While I was there I found this beautiful old Seagrave Ladder Truck sitting behind the station.
Now being a antique fire truck lover I had to get pictures of this beautiful rig.
I did talk to a Las Vegas firefighter and he said this rig runs in parades and I made a mental note to pay attention to the next parade and get there to take some pictures of it running.

The Las Vegas Fire Department has a 1917 Ford Model T Fire Truck which was the first motorized Fire Truck in the Las Vegas Valley. It is kept in a garage in front of Fire Station 5 off of Charleston. This is a beautiful old rig.

The fire trucks are great, but I think that awesome bus takes the title of "Ultimate Survivor".
