Crown Jewel

Now that is a very fine specimen of the rare yellow 41c Ford GT!  And with a nice E box to boot!

Within the past 2 months or so, there was one on The Toy Peddler that had some flea bites and no box that sold for $300!!!

Seeing yours, Kiwi, I find  myself at an impasse.  A while ago, I bought a Matchbox lot from ebay for an excellent price.  I had spotted a yellow 41c in the description pictures, but it was not prominently positioned so it could have been easily overlooked.  As soon as the parcel arrived, I went straight for that Ford.  The back end was caked in dirt and one or two tires were missing.  No worries.  It cleaned up beautifully and I had a spare white version that gladly donated the needed shoes!  Now, the paint on mine isn't quite as good as yours but it is very presentable and displayable, nonetheless.  My quandary is this:  I currently have it for sale.  If I get my asking price I will make a tidy profit (no, I am not asking anywhere near $300!).  But, it would be oh so nice to have such a rare piece in my collection.

Perhaps I'll post some pics of it when I have a chance and ask you collectors for your input.
