This town in Argentina was under water for 25 years and is now dry. The pics are pretty cool. Everything is Ghostly and covered in salt link

Very interesting. There are towns in the US like that, still submerged due to being turned into reservoirs.

Here is a town in my area that has had an underground fire for over 50 yrs. Kinda cool yet sad how people destroy the earth without thinking before they do things and how it will affect the people and things around them.

I thought of the fire town yesterday when Steve posted about the submerged city that came up for air. it was a very small town to begin with though, makes me wonder how much different it would look today if that fire hadn't started.
