Hi to some familiar names/faces

Hi, my name is Duncan, but I decided to jazz it up a bit for this forum so chose slamdunc for my user name.  I may change that, who knows.

Anyway, I am 63 years old, been married for 39 years come April, have 1 daughter and twin boys, currently 3 granddaughters with two more scheduled to be born this week if all goes well.  I am fairly new to diecast collecting - probably less than five years, but wish I had discovered diecast collecting earlier.  I would guess I currently have somewhere between 400-500 models (but don't tell my wife Whistle).  I am not tied in to one model or brand, although Mopar is number one in my book.  I just love cars and, in particular, American-branded cars, which means I'm not much into fantasy or cartoon-type cars nor, I'm afraid, 'foreign' cars.  Other than that, I usually collect whatever strikes my fancy in whatever scale or brand.

I also collect chess sets and art, which means room is always an issue.  It probably also drives my wife crazy, more than somewhat, but she stays tolerant, up to a point.  One of these days I will probably find her 'breaking' point.  lol
