For my latest project I decided to make a small Junk Yard Diorama. And this time instead of using pre-made buildings I made a Quonset Hut for the yard office.
I took one of the desert mats by WOODLAND SCENICS and glued it onto a piece of Foam Board and then let it dry.
Here it is glued in place.

Next came the construction of the Quonset Hut. I took and printed off my sheet of "tin" on card stock paper.
And then cut it down to the size I wanted.
Next I took a piece of Scrape Foam Board and cut it down to the size for the Quonset hut.

Next I glued the Card Stock to the Foam Board and let it sit and set up a little before doing the same thing on the other side.

Now for the front of the building I used one of the flats I had downloaded and cut part of another one out for the sign and I know it is a little big but it still makes a great addition to the diorama.

the next step is to put the fence around the diorama and here is what I am using for fence.
