I bought this truck about a month ago. I was looking at getting a car and not another truck but I could not find any four door sedans that I really wanted for the price. General Motors did not have anything that really struck my fancy and the other brands was not doing it for me either other than the Dodge Charger and it was out of my price range. Then my wife made a helpful comment that made my decision easier. She commented that it would be nice that we had a truck here because my Mom is using my other one for a daily driver. Then the search began and I found this 2009 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab close to home at one of the many major dealerships by the house. Of course I was only looking for Chevy trucks because there is not really any other kind of truck that is worth buying except a GMC :). It only had 46,000 miles on it and it was also a one owner truck. I am very happy with the purchase. I know the gas mileage would be better in a car but having trucks for a daily driver is not new to me and I already knew what I was getting into as gas mileage when I bought it. Its not too bad and it gets better gas mileage than my 2001 Chevy truck. Here is the truck parked in my driveway next to my Chevy Monte Carlo. It needs some work done to the car but at least I am not being pressured to get the car fixed. I will work on it this summer coming up. I have been a follower of the General for all my life and I love to be continuing that relationship. Besides Bowties are cool!

Its sad that I could get a better deal for a Chevy at a Honda dealership than a Chevy dealerships. I guess the Chevy dealerships know the value of their vehicles better....LOL
