Pep Boys to Launch New Fragrances: Pep for Him, Pep for Her

Been working on or under your car all day? We can relate. But as much as we love repairing or revamping our automotive babies, it’s no secret the long hours of labor can leave us with a not-so-fresh scent. 

Well, we’re pulling the emergency brake on those motor odors with a new Pep Boys fragrance line! 

“Pep for Him” and “Pep for Her” are sure to leave you – our customers – cool, confident and not scrambling to roll the windows down when there’s a passenger in your 1992 Geo Storm. Both the cologne and the perfume – to be elegantly bottled and retailed at five-ounces a pop – promise to tantalize nose hairs more than any
tree-shaped air freshener ever could.  With the help of Pep Boys’ newly hired aromachologist Francois DuStank,
“Pep” was carefully concocted mainly from two rare ingredients: oil of alligator and wild primrose, a flowering plant native only to areas of New Guinea.

“At Pep Boys, I know we strive to deliver only the finest to our customers, and that’s exactly what we’ve made here,” DuStank said. “‘Pep’ will leave users smelling like they just bathed in a new car with a splash of
nitromethane – a sweet, yet explosive aroma designed to drive your senses into someone else’s car.”

The new Pep Boys fragrance will hit the shelves as soon as we receive final approval from the Food and Drug Administration.

And remember, just because you used a little elbow grease, doesn’t mean you have to smell like it.
