This STINKS big time !!! I found these M2/HWs at a Wally World 2 days ago and reported them to the manager, that they were two Hot Wheels cars that sell for a buck each. They were back on the shelf the next day. I again reported them to the day manager and they were back on the shelf today. This time I took them to the front desk and explained some unsuspecting person will be paying $5.88 each for a 1 dollar Hot Wheels car and if I see them on the shelf tomorrow I will call the Better Business people and the Attorney General, and tossed them in a trash can behind the counter. They all looked at me like I was an idiot, but better not see them on the shelf tomorrow !!!
I really hate seeing this stuff happening, and I wish the store clerks could be made more aware, but on the other hand most people would never know the difference !!! |

WTG Steve Thumbs up I'd be pissed too if I saw this and made the effort in letting the store manager(s) know what is happening at a place I shop at and see the item(s) back on the shelf the next day and the day after that, after I have made them aware of the problem.... Seems it is time to report the store to the Walmart Headquarters :)

Steve, I saw those a few years back in the Philly area. There had to be at least 20 different M2's flipped out with hot wheels. I remember we were on vacation on our way to Jersey and we popped into a wally, I turned the corner and I was amazed to see all the M2's on the shelf, as I got a closer look I was disappointed, as they were all filled with Hot Wheels. It is just down right wrong and those people who flip them out like that should be reported.

If I was working at the customer service desk and the slimebag was returning these, I would ask the reason for the return. If the answer was, "I don't want them", I would get security involved.
Oooops!! Reality check!! Remember Sam Walton's credo: Rule number 1 - The customer is always right. Rule number 2 - If customer is wrong, refer to Rule number 1.
Oh Sam, you can't let your customers walk all over you!

Went to a couple of Walmart's, TRU, Kmarts, etc this past weekend and did not find a lot of selection.
