I took this HW 55 Chevy casting and converted it to the 55 from American Grafitti. I don't know why HW hasn't released this in the Retro series yet. I guess I couldn't wait.
I ground and sanded off the body molding and rounded out the whel wells. Found some RR tires and wheels for the wheel swap.
Did some more fine sanding and fabricated a small hood scoop, then shot some primer on it..
Applied the high gloss black paint this morning and when it dries good I will apply a little detail...
It kinda has that Retro look now !!! |
