I just purchased this model kit if the Mel's Diner from the American Grafitti movie. After about 18 hours or so, the roof is ready to go on and some finishing touches applied. There are many tiny little pieces needed to be painted and put together. This kit is no joke and not an easy one to build. I took my time with this one so far and am pleased with the progress so far. Many of the tiny mounting holes had to be redrilled to size so the parts would fit. Many test fits are required with this one!          Placement of the wall pieces and doors: Placement of the windows:       This will make a great set up in my new lay-out and a great Kodak spot when it's finished!
