I have a question for all. As most of you know I work in a very physically demanding job. A job that is also dangerous at times.
My question is this when is it time to say that you can no longer do that job? Remember that that job is also a job that you love and enjoy doing.
Any and all feedback on this is appreciated.

I know we talked about this Dave when I was visiting you during the Super Show, but here is my thoughts on it again.... If you know & feel in your heart that you can no longer do the work that you love and give your all in 110% everyday, it's time to move forward and find something else that you can do.... Find a stress free job if there's such a thing these days... lol

My leg and hip gave out today. And I was basically useless when we were moving a frig up stairs and when we were moving a stack-able washer and dryer from the shop to a ground floor apartment a hundred feet away. You saw how I was limping when we were at the convention when I got home from work I had to have Abbey come help me inside. I am planning on taking the next five days off and see what happens. I also plan on going to the doctor Friday. My issue is that I am a Stubborn Old Goat and do not want to admit I cannot do what i do much longer, if at all. The other issue is that I am afraid that if I continue to work doing what I do I will get somebody or myself hurt or killed.

Dave, I would just say as we get older there are going to be choices that we have to make that we may not want to make but due to health issues you can no longer do what you were once able to do, so you will have to find something your health will allow you to do and something that you enjoy doing. I have several things I enjoy doing, I like being creative with the computer, crafts and a few other things as you well know. I zone out, my mind is clear from all the drama that surrounds me. So if for some reason I were to lose my job or just say screw it with the everyday drama my job gives me I have other things I can fall back on. It may not pay as much at first as my job but again it takes time and money to get something in the works. But in the long run you are doing something you enjoy and your doing it when you want to do it. You do not have to report at a certain time, you do not have to answer to anyone else, etc. But until you can start up something like that you should find something that you can tolerate and you can handle health wise, and something that will help you financially with a little extra cash in your pocket to get that Online business started.
