I will agree with Dave that it was fun walking around seeing what people/venders had to offer in sales and trades.... I made my first trade this year as trading is hard at these shows when everyone is trying to sell what they bring, but it can be done if you have the right stuff to trade, I had no idea that I brought the right stuff until this gentleman asked if I would trade with him....
I have to admit that the temperature in the Convention room was very very warm and muggy, I was burning up as well as many others who I hung out with....

LOL that on top of the ticket for "HOLDING YOUR CELL PHONE" the conventions and collectors get together are always a blast. I have fun that one Sunday a month when we get together here in Las Vegas and I wish I could afford to go to conventions in other areas of the country.

I have fun that one Sunday a month when we get together here in Las Vegas and I wish I could afford to go to conventions in other areas of the country. Very funny Dave.... I have to admit that Las Vegas sure does have some odd traffic laws... For those who do not know what Dave is talking about, let me share this with you on my expense and literally my expense... I arrived in Las Vegas NV on a Thursday to attend the Las Vegas Super Show and I decided to drop off the highway to hit a few stores near by, well no more than 10 mins being on the side streets driving towards a Walmart I was sitting at a 4 way intersection and I reached down to unplug my cell phone from the charger and a State Trooper noticed I had my cell phone in hand.... I guess Las Vegas passed a stupid law that if you are driving down the road you can not hold your cell phone ( Now I was not talking nor texting when this officer saw me with phone in hand ) and he insisted that I deserved to get a traffic ticket for holding my cell phone.... Well, when I got home I was curious as in how much this ticket is going to cost me for my first offense and it looks as though Nevada is screwing everyone who lives in the state and out of the state........ ((((( ..... $120.00 ..... ))))) .... for the 1st offense and the 2nd offense would be over $200.00 for being caught with a cell phone in hand while driving..... Now here in California, their is no law with holding your cell, you just can't be on the phone talking or texting.... Nothing in the rule book about holding a phone while in motion...... Moral of the story, the State Trooper saw a easy ticket to make free money for the state so Nevada can throw it away on making more overpasses that they keep building while the state is in dire need of money & employment....

Do I think holding the Cell Phone is extrema yes I do. Do I think he should have gotten a warning yes, but the law was passed after a little girl was killed and it is State Wide. Up until January of this year they would more often than not give you a warning but this year they are really enforcing it And Dan I am sorry you got the ticket.

Dan, Well that sucks...... Now that is a good one Jim.. I for one respect the law they are there to serve and protect, but lets face it our country is becoming a big crap hole, and the government is there to screw the people in this country and get money anyway they can. Raising taxes, putting silly laws out there, like holding a cell phone (well geesh what if I wanted to hold my bottle of water would I get a ticket for that too?) or wearing saggy pants on the Boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ (which quite honestly is a silly law however, saggy jeans to me are stupid why even wear pants, you can't walk in them and quite honestly nobody wants to see your underwear) just my opinion on it all... Now if the hard working people can just make a law up that we can make up our own wages that would be awesome...
