A Success Story

I found out about the M2 Menards exclusive BWF Auto Haulers kinda late in the game. I wanted 2 of the three exclusives (wasn’t interested in the Ford COE hauler on a rail car). Living in Connecticut means there are no Menards stores close by. In fact, the closest one is 550 miles away in South Massillon, Ohio.

I mentioned to Roadwarrior (Brad) that I was looking for them but unfortunately, by the time I talked to him, they had all come and gone from his local Menards in Missouri. I also mentioned these haulers to Liv N Low (Dan) but he said there aren’t any Menards in California. But, he suggested I contact 5thGenCamaro (Jim), who lives in Michigan. Jim readily agreed to help me out and within a day he had gone out and grabbed the last two haulers in the store! Wahoo!! I asked Jim if there was anything he was looking for and he said he has been trying to find the JL ’93 Camaro Pace Car. That’s when I put things into action and sent out an All Points Bulletin to about two dozen collectors. Within an hour I heard back from NYSWLHUNTER (Pierre) who had a lead on one. That lead proved to be a hit and I was able to arrange for Jim to get his beloved ’93 Camaro. I was almost as happy about that as I was getting these haulers!!
