Took my girlfriend out for a cruise this evening. We were on the turnpike on our way to the pet food store and on the way we went past a Hooters - where there was a Cruise Night. Got the food and a couple of treats for my sweetheart (of course!). As I walked out to the parking lot a red '69 AMX came rumbling down the road to a stop light to make a U turn. Behind it came a '68 GTO. I just stood there and admired the American Beauties. When the light turned, I listened to the V8 music. A little later, a '65 Chevelle came by. When I got onto the turnpike, I found myself behind a '67 Camaro. Now, it was time to turn into the TRU parking lot. Walked in and looked at the young female cashier and said, "Looks like you're having a real fun Friday night!" (it was about 9:30). She said, "Oh yeah...." Headed to the die cast aisle (where else?? ) hoping to find another AW Cadillac or two. Nope. But what is hanging on the Licensed Premium peg toward the back? A couple of weeks ago, a guy from one of my die cast clubs found the same car at the same TRU. There ya go! My second Ultra Red found in the wild!

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm Mark, You really shouldn't be talking to the YOUNG Cashiers with your sweetheart with you... And your sweetheart is mighty fine... She is so perdy... Oh BTW congrats on the Ultra Red... I guess I will have to go into my TRU which is 30 minutes away and see what they have for AW's cuz my Wally's took the pegs down. Sad part is my TRU is always bone dry, but I guess the next time I am up that way I will check it out as it might be my only source for the AW's.
