My Insane Obession with Diecast

I bought some Matchbox cars on Swiftys for 2 for a $1 but I got to the sale alittle late but manage to pull out some nice diecast gems from that sale and here they are.










Here are some cars I purchased on TTP. I am quite pleased with the purchase because the all the cars seen were just $2 each and that is not bad for the Ertl American Muscle cars.

Here is a whole mess of Chevrolets and 2 Fords. The 2 Fords had livery on them that went with the Chevrolet. Don't judge me and will know them when you see them.... Leave me alone. I am playing with my little cars now.

Looks like you been keeping busy and all with some awesome pick me ups.... I see quite a few I wouldn't mind adding to my collection... Revell Lowriders and the JL White Bucket Rat Rod, Oh and Congrats on finding the new AW Chases.... AW will not be found in my area as Walmart deleted them from the system or they never purchased the Cars to be sold so I am SOL.... I am thinking about buying the Raw versions anyways and as we all know anything that doesn't look right at the pegs will be scooped up and re-sold on the secondary market, and that is where I will stuck buying them...

I posted up a pic of them being clearanced out and I went to a couple more Walmarts and the rest was finished with no M2s , JLs, Jada , and AW ... All pegs were for HWs, MB and Pixar Cars

Firehawk if you lived in Canada you would go crazy l.o.l.

No M2 cars no A.W. no more Johnny Lightning Walmart has Hotwheels, Matchbox, and those Pixar cars A few 1/24 scale cars and that is it.
On the bright side I doubt if I spent 10 dollars on cars in the last 3 years. I wont buy online if I cant see it on the pegs I don't need it. So enjoy your toys.

Well it seems weird the way we get cars in Canada the only time I seen Revell was when they dumped the lowrider series .Ertl cars same thing they dumped 1/64 scale cars then the 1/18 scale cars. I bought 1/18 scale cars for 10 dollars when they had a big dump at Walmart. Johnny Lightning were dumped at 1.50 at most Walmarts the one near us were only 1.00 that was about 5 years ago then the Yatming dump. And way back in I think 1993 they dumped the Hotwheels redline series I think it was 25th or 35th anniversary cars .We get what don't sell in the U.S.A.. The Motormax dump a few years ago was just a few 1/24 scale models and a few little cars that never sold . We also had a lowrider Jada Dump 1/24 scale and 1.64 or 1/60 scale whatever it is. We even had a M2 Dump a dollar a car they were plastic and they were peg warmers it took months before they were gone. So next dump I will shop again l.o.l..

I am the same I never owned a credit card ,pay cash..

Sam's Club has Maisto 1/18 scale cars for $13.98 each. There were a couple I had to get for the collection.

Bought really cheap cars from a guy on another board. They are not show quality but for the purpose I am going to use them for they don't need to be. The old Buick and Plymouth are going to stay untouched though.










Here is another mailbox find from another sale on the same site. Its a good site to buy regular cars from especially if you are into loose cars. Hopefully this sites swap and sale forum will pick up one of these days.

HW club meeting finds for this month. Very slim pickings compared to last month but I made due. Got some really good deals especially loose cars for .25 cent each and one seller threw in a Jammer case to sweeten the deal. I also got some much needed car cases for cheap. I was able to get some HTF Ford GT40s.







Broken spoiler M2 Chase Mustang for .50 cents. (will be used as a parts car)

A couple of HW 100% for $5 each.


One of the members and a personal friend of mine found the Auto World GT40s for me and sold them to me at cost.


Another Ford GT40 but from HWs from the hard to get Road Racer Series. 1 down and 5 more to go.....LOL
