What is this ?

I am thinking it could be IE being the problem. I use Firefox and have no problems at all with funky stuff popping up or not loading. You may need to clear out your cookies as well.

Thanks Shell internet explorer is junk  always has been.I tried firefox and it has its problems also.

The computer is about 5 months old .My cure was check everything and no threats found . So I then did a system recovery. Yes recovery   Not system restore. 

Now to show just how screwed up computers are . I now have to re-do everything in my favorites  .So I type in this website in google get on it add to favorites then log in and I get this.




Now the only reason I posted this topic . I was curious if anyone else had the problem of seeing the website the same way so if not then .It is that crap internet explorer it acts up  on one other site Photobucket . So I ignored this crap popup from internet explorer  and logged in .As for firefox been there done that i will stick with the lemon i got at least it works ok sometimes l.o.l. Anyways thanks for the advice.

Oh, I use firefox as well, as IE took a huge turn in my use of the PC searching and playing around as it makes my fan run loud and hard like the PC is ready for take off from a airport.... Firefox has been good to me since I changed over from IE..... I load fast and no fan noise while I am searching on the Net....

you should sign up for a google account. and then use chrome and sign in with your google account, all of your favorites and such are saved in your google account, not the browser itself, very nice.

Your welcome Jim, If you have any other issues or questions post them and I will gladly try and help if I can, I am sure others can chime in to help if they are computer savvy.  All though sometimes computers have a mind of their own and can work one minute then the next not work and you slam it on the ground and then it works again.  haha Just kidding don't throw your computer on the ground to make it work.

DiecastGenie .. I never toss my computer on the floor l.o.l. I live in the country with no close neighbours so I take the computer out back and use it for target practice l.o.l.


Liv N Low . I never had a problem with this computer till it updated and that's where the problems start. This critter came with IE10 .

I used the computer for a few days before I updated it. First problem after the update the usual mouse freeze thing and a page wont open thing is next of course . Windows is checking on it always comes up so not to worry . Of course they have never replied with a cure for any problems.

Computers and cars are the two worst frustrations we seem to live with. I dump my car the minute the warranty is up . I need a car we live about 40 miles to the nearest town about 10 to the nearest human . But a computer I can live without. This thing has had strike one, two more and its out l.o.l.

Now this one I have seen a lot of on other sites and what I have been told is that it all boils down to Google and running a foul of there servers. DiecastGenie can correct me if I am wrong on this but I have seen sites such as MCCH, HT, and others go through this and it always takes a while to get corrected.

I myself use Firefox and Apple Safari, but mainly firefox. I like others have very little issue with firefox. Years ago AOL was a target for hackers and those that made computer viruses just for those that use AOL. Sometimes when I hear about the issues with IE I think back to those days and wonder if IE is not the latest target. Like everybody else I prefer to use Firefox.

From my understanding if anyone is using Windows XP I am sure you are aware that IE will only go to version 8 after that you are pretty much screwed because you will be unable to view certain websites because you will not have updated viewers etc. So get used to seeing those types of errors on Windows XP... Which kind of sucks because I have a windows xp computer and I don't even use it for the internet anymore because it is too frustrating. I use it for some programs I have because I am to cheap to buy the updated software for windows 7 or 8. Once my XP dies I guess I will have to evaluate if the software is even worth purchasing. I hate to spend over $1k for the software but I may have to at one point in time. Oh well what's a gal to do?

Thanks for the reply . I am aware it has ads they don't bother me I ignore them just thought it was odd they were in French .And thought it was odd you allowed a guest post .

Ohhhhhh, I use the ad blocker as well to block the annoying ads...

I like to keep my computer cleaned up with all the unwanted software I do not use, however, I do use the adblocker, malwarebytes, CCleaner, TDSKiller and AVG to keep my computer running smoothly.
