Ok, I took a good look at my cars, and here's the dealio...... I was actually right the first time. The grained roof Cuda IS the prototype. I also have that one in zamac Don't know how I missed posting it before, but here it is; So here's where the confusion came from.... The cars I posted above are from the MGA Entertainment releases. They called the Cuda the "orange Bomb". And the production version has a smooth roof. Muscle Machines also released the Cuda (actually calling it a Cuda) and their version has a grained roof. The Muscle Machines Cuda is actually a little bit larger than the MGA Ent. release. I guarantee if you flip your Cuda over, it'll say Muscle Machines on it. it also has a black base and the slam suspension, the MGA version doesn't. Sorry for the confusion, but I did say the cars were from MGA. That clear it up?

Hi Dan! Good to see you again.
Ok, I re-copied your list. But I'm wondering.....how the hell do you keep up with the M2 chase cars, especially the Ground Pounders, when M2's own site is behind the times?

I wonder if I have it backwards and the grained roof was the production model? Poor memory, ya know. Do you remember where you got yours?
Dan, the zamac Sweet Pea and the figure 8 car (Outlaw 666) were the chase cars for series 1 and 2. The others are prototypes, never released.

Yeah, I know, I should really focus on taking better photos. pun intended.
So, the prototype Cuda has a grained vinyl roof and the production version is smooth.

Nice cars, Craig O!! Lovin' that Jesse James '54 Chevy! (great hard to find score, there! Keep it carded, because very few of them were) I've talked to Sean via PMs on the Shack. Would love to meet him in person and hear some of his stories.

Ok, so you know that Sweet Pea was put out by a different company (MGA Entertainment, the same company that brought us Bratz dolls) Here she is; And I know you know that it also came out in a raw, chase version; As did the Figure 8 car; But, how many of you have seen the other cars in that release in the raw? Skunk Werks Hell Runner Fiddy Fo They're all prototypes that I got from Jesse.

Not a great assortment this time around. I started off with the cars I wanted and saw that I was coming up shy of the 20 I needed for the mail in. I had to choose a couple of extra cars for customs to make up for it. But I'm looking forward to that VW drag bus, it looks killer!

Might be the best day I've had in a long time! Got an early start, dropping off a friend ath the bus station at 9:00. First stop, Wally's. Now, I don't know if it was intuition or wishful thinking, but I KNEW I would find one of these at this store. (and that has happened to me before, knowing a particular car would be in a certain store waiting for me) Also grabbed the mainline version. Just down the street at a Target, the first Hunt of 2014 was right in my line of vision; Something told me it might be a good day for a hunt, so I kept going. A couple more stores and not finding anything, but then at another Wallys... another M2 chase Firebird. (not going to repeat the picture, and it's being traded) Grabbed a couple of these Boulevard Vettes at a Marshall's; Found two of these at a Toys R Us; (one for me, one for a bud) And finally, hit a Big Lots that I haven't been to in awhile on a whim. and they had a bunch of Hot Wheels. Found a Dodge Van TH in the first shipper. (big whoop, add it to the trade pile) In the same shipper, dug this one out; It has a crease in the card, only seen on the back, but that's a decent trader, too. Also picked up another Dodge Van Hunt, and some mainlines. Grabbed a few of these for traders or customs, whichever comes first. Then I get home, and this one was waiting for me, from a trade; Like I said, haven't had a day like that in a long time! Felt so much better than always coming home after a day of hunting empty handed!

I'll be going. Always a good time at my event. Way more laid back than the horror stories I've read. I'll be getting at least 20 cars for the mail in. Would like to get an extra bus for a trader. We'll see.

I also just got this Auto World chase in a trade. It was on such a bad card, I had to open it. (probably would have anyway)

I just found two of those M2 chase cars yesterday. The regulars with the black tires. I want one of the supers if I can get it for a reasonable price or trade.

Nice stuff Rob... I remember watching Jessie pounding and rolling out that tank on the show... Great looking bike The neat thing about that tank, besides being copper is that it is NOT welded, like most tanks, but riveted only. Jesse went to an old school master, Fay Butler in Massachusetts to learn how. He even bought a 35 thousand dollar riveter to do it. you have to admire someone who can dedicate himself that deeply to creating something different. And, Jesse's in the diecast hall of fame for these bikes.

Just wanted to throw this photo out there. The model is named "Penny Saved" and it's shown here in 1/32 scale in the front, followed by 1/18, 1/10 and the huge 1/5th scale.

I am a HUGE fan of the show, so I needed to have these in my collection. But I wasn't in such a rush that I was going to pay the HD stealership's prices, IF they even had them. Never saw them at Wally World, or TRU or K Mart, etc... Finally saw them in a music store called FYI. But the prices were high (and different for each one?) plus the packages were all creased. I ended up buying 3 of them from one seller on ebay, at a better price than in the stores, including the shipping. very happy with the bikes, though, and definitely looking forward to more releases. JT's bike and Piney's trike would be nice.

The first thread I see in here is dedicated to Firebirds> Hmm....think I'm gonna like it here. But at the moment, I only have 500 something Firebirds and Trans Ams in my photobucket account, so I may not be able to contribute much.
